The Story of Holly and Ivy

“I wish–“

Holly is a Christmas doll, and she wants more than anything to belong to a little girl. But of all the toys sold that Christmas, no one seems to want a doll in a red dress with a green petticoat.

So Holly stands looking out the window, waiting and wishing for her girl.

Ivy is an orphan, who decides she isn’t going to be alone this Christmas. Instead of traveling to a home for infants over the holidays, she gets off the train at a small town and goes in search of her grandmother.

She doesn’t know where her grandmother lives, or even if she has one. But Ivy can wish, and she knows what to look for: a house that’s all ready for Christmas, but without children inside.

Mrs. Jones has made her home beautiful for the holidays. But no home feels complete at Christmas without a child to share it. But Mrs. Jones and her husband never had any children. And how could wishing possibly bring one?

Maybe not one wish, but when all three wish together, Christmas miracles can happen.
